Dan Uszynski is a seasoned engineering and operations executive with more than 40 years of experience leading complex real estate, infrastructure, and industrial development initiatives. He specializes in capital strategy and scaled housing delivery, helping developers and investors implement next-generation building systems and accelerate project execution.

Dan has held senior executive roles including President, COO, and Vice President, where he has guided organizations through large-scale capital programs, operational restructuring, and strategic growth. His work consistently bridges the gap between engineering, finance, and development, providing practical, commercially grounded solutions that turn complex concepts into successful, revenue-generating assets.

Dan is also the founding President of BIG North Capital, a private investment group formed by 177 secured stakeholders to protect and restore value across a 189-property housing portfolio following CCAA proceedings. The formation of this syndicate is believed to be the first instance in Canada where individual investors successfully organized to acquire control of assets during a restructuring process—establishing a new model for investor-driven recovery and stewardship.
