Steven Powney

Steven Powney is the Principle and Founder of Bamaburgh Industrial Construction Services and has over 35 years of service and experience in business development, manufacturing and operational management. He emigrated to Canada in 1997 after working for Jaguar for 13 years in manufacturing and new model planning including introduction of robotic and automated technologies within the body shop manufacturing area.

From 1997 to 2016, he held senior management positions in manufacturing, engineering management, and business development for automated and robotic systems and solutions in the automotive, heavy industry and general industry segments.

In 2016 Steven joined ABB Robotics , a world leader in the supply of robotics and automation technology, he has worked in business and operational development on new emerging sectors and markets including a key global role in the development and introduction of robotics and automation into the construction sector.
